OnBuy have an exciting opportunity for a Head of CRM to join the team.

Location: Bournemouth / Remote

Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 per annum

Head of CRM – The Role:

OnBuy is growing and we have an opportunity for an experienced Head of CRM to plan and develop the CRM strategy, aiming to deliver targeted campaigns in order to improve customer retention and ultimately increase LTV. Reporting into our Marketing Director, you’ll oversee both the campaign emails and automated emails that form part of the customer journey, working to improve performance and the share of sales that CRM generates for the business. 

You’ll work with our Development and Marketing Intelligence teams to develop audience clusters, enhance segmentation capabilities, and develop a personalised email journey founded on data. You must be data-driven, with a strong ability to analyse results and make improvements based on the insights. You will also be able to work with creative teams to get engaging content that will resonate with your audiences.

Head of CRM – Key Responsibilities:

– Developing the overarching CRM strategy in alignment with business objectives

– Reporting against KPIs, demonstrating an increase in customer retention and LTV

– Working with the other departments to develop the foundations that will enable advanced segmentation and personalisation capabilities

– Building out a multi-channel approach (email, SMS, and push notifications) to marketing, ensuring each channel works together to produce the best possible customer experience 

– Collaborating with the owners of the other channels to ensure an integrated approach to communications

– Working with our creative teams to plan and manage the execution and design of campaigns

– Leading and mentoring a CRM executive, helping them to maximise their potential

– Developing and implementing a robust test and learn plan to inform optimisation opportunities 

Head of CRM – You:

– At least 3 years’ experience as a CRM manager, preferably within eCommerce 

– Demonstrable experience developing a CRM strategy which delivered results

– An understanding of single customer views and how this adds value

– Experience of managing and developing a small team

– Strong analytical and creative skills

– The ability to work autonomously

– Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal 

– A solid understanding of GDPR requirements

– Bachelor's or master's degree in marketing or a related field (not essential)
