Overview

Highly successful international business requires a high calibre Group Reporting Accountant to incorporate both consolidation and group level reporting.

This is a superb opportunity to undertake a role as Group Reporting Accountant of an expanding group of companies that are set to continue this expansion via both organic growth and targeted acquisition.

Group Reporting Accountant – About The Role

Due to significant growth of this client a newly created position is available for a Group Reporting Accountant supporting both the Financial Controller and the Consolidation Manager. This position will be involved in an operational level reporting position together with involvement in some key projects for the Group.

As the Group Reporting Accountant you will

* Responsibility for month-end reporting to include journals, accruals, prepayments and fixed asset register

* Preparation and reconciliation of the balance sheet reconciliations

* Reviewing the ledgers, cash reporting and bank reconciliations

* Payroll reconciliations and journals

* Intercompany recharges

* Involvement in the annual budget process

* Group consolidation reports and reconciliations (P&L, balance sheet, cashflow)

* Preparation of various half-year and full year statutory reporting

The successful Group Reporting Accountant will have:

* ACA or ACCA qualified with a minimum of 2 years post qualified industry experience

* Advanced Excel knowledge

* Experience of working with an ERP systems

* Confidence and experience or working with senior stakeholders of an international business

* Experience of working within either large or PLC business
