Job Description
Reporting into the CEO this isn’t a standard FC role. Because you’ll be working with product and marketing heads to agree pricing structures, managing renewals and supporting contract discussions. And monitoring competitor analysis and market trends will keep things interesting.
This company operates in over 90 countries and specialises in educational technology. Therefore it has a very clear and rewarding purpose as it seeks to ensure that the classroom is fully integrated seamlessly with software and technology. And with an increase in remote learning it has never been more important.
Your new role
Reporting directly into the CEO you will be responsible for a standard Group FC. However the challenge, reward and enjoyment will come when you are able to use your business partnering skills to shape, influence and support the strategic direction of the organisation.
Although this company has many accreditations it cannot standstill. And therefore it has to continue to evolve, develop and push the technological boundaries which are part of the culture and DNA of the company.

Benefits

Base salary: £60k to £70k
*
Hybrid working
*
Holiday: 25 days (excluding bank holidays). Rising to 27 days.
Skills and experience to be successful
*
Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
*
UK taxation knowledge as a minimum. Familiarity with US and German tax law would be advantageous.
*
Ability to be a business partner to the CEO and the board of Directors.
*
Knowledge of Sage, QuickBooks, PowerPoint and Excel.
