Job Description
Outstanding Assistant Accountant opportunity for an actively studying CIMA, ACCA or ACA Studier to join the Liverpool city centre Head Office of one of the UKs largest, privately-owned Fast Track businesses (£300 t/o FMCG Group). Based in a friendly and supportive finance team in prestigious offices in the the heart of Liverpool city centre (with parking provided), you will report directly to the Group Financial Controller, with a remit including:  

Preparation of the monthly management accounts for several of the group’s key subsidiaries
Variance Analysis
Monthly balance sheet reconciliation and review with the Group Financial Controller
Prepare the weekly consolidated Group Cash forecast
Supporting Cash Management
Maintenance of fixed asset registers
Preparation & submission of monthly and quarterly VAT returns
Budget preparation
Annual and half year forecasting
Business Partnering with key budget holders and stakeholders
Preparation of information for the annual external audit
Manage the Groups foreign exchange position
Supporting the development of best practice across financial reporting, process and procedures   Applicants must be Part Qualified CIMA/ACCA or ACA studiers, committed to achieving full qualification. You will have excellent communication skills and the gravitas and personality to forge strong business partner relationships across all levels of the business and will be ambitious with the desire to develop and take on more responsibility in time.
