We are looking for an Graduate (assistant) Cost Controller to strengthen the Subsea team based in their Winnersh office, near Reading. This role is ideal for graduates who are looking for their first step into a project or cost control role. Ideally you will be analytically and commercially minded, with strong attention to detail and improvement mindset, and will be from a business or commercial graduate background.
 
The Subsea segment delivers high tech solutions for EPC long-term contracts dealt by multidisciplinary project teams. The Graduate (assistant) Cost Controller will be frequently liaising with different departments such as Project Management, Planning, Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sales and project teams in other countries to be able to execute the cost controlling tasks.

What will you be doing?
 
Supporting other team members, your key activities will include:

Preparing monthly Project’s P&L with commentary on variances to budgets and forecast
Updating risk register
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to help digitalize cost control processes
Monitor engineering changes and support preparing variation orders to the client
Reporting monthly Project Cash Flow and monitor foreign currency exposure
Providing on time and accurate invoicing
