Job Description
My client is a manufacturing organisation based in the Fife area. They have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Financial Controller to join them on 12 month fixed term contract with the view of potential extension.

Part of the Management team and reporting directly to the Site General Manager you will be responsible for overseeing all financial and management accounting whilst leading a small team.

Responsibilities will include:

Support the implamention of a new ERP system including financial process implamentation
Balancesheet reconciliation – accruals, bank accounts, fixed assets and petty cash etc
Oversea management of cash within the business including controlling stock levels and minimise debtors
Weekly cashflow forecast reporting
Prepare and present monthly management accounts
Variance analysis and reporting
Statutory reporting
Improve operating efficiencies and iinternal controls
Prepare quarterly forecasts and budgets
Manage site P<o be considered for this position, candidates must have the following background and skills:

Qualified ACCA/CIMA/CA
Experience for working within a manufacturing environment
Comfortable working in a hands on and operational technical accounting role whilst providing commercial support to the Management team to support the continued growth of the site
Stakeholder management, able to communicate effectively to Senior Level within a commercial accounts role
Confident IT skills, this should include MS Excel and ERP systems
