Job Description
Role: Finance Operations Manager
Salary: £70,000 – £80,000 + 15% Bonus
Location: London
My client rapidly is a rapidly growing financial services organisation who deliver a range of solutions to corporate clients. They are seeking a Finance Operations Manager to work within their Finance department and take responsibility of the following key functions.
Functions of the role:
* To ensure the timely fulfilment of Finance deliverables to internal and external stakeholders
* Monitor the Finance controls framework and pro-actively work with the Finance team to manage risks
* Document well defined process, policies and procedures
* Execute and manage processes changes
* To ensure projects are brought to BAU stage without disruption
* Help to drive standardization and process compliance
* Ensure the target operating model is established and followed by the department
* Responsible for ensuring that multiple projects meet the deliverables to stakeholders’ requirements
* Create and present effective management (planning, budgeting and risk) and status reports on all projects
* Assist with quarterly and year-end audit
* Provide a back up support in absence of the Finance Manager and FPA Manager to ensure regular reporting is carried out without any interruption
Required Experience:
* Strong attention to detail and time management
* Qualified Accountant (ACA/CIMA / ACCA) or Finalist
* Knowledge and practical experience in managing process change projects
* Knowledge of Finance processes and data
* Audit experience is mandatory
* Feel comfortable working with various reporting applications
* Financial services experience including RegData reporting, preferably within a SME will be advantageous
* Strong Excel knowledge including pivot tables and v-lookups
* Ability to establish and build relationships with a variety of stakeholders
