Job Description
Elevation Recruitment Group are currently working in partnership with a growing business in the Mansfield area, as they look to recruit a Finance Officer to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.

The main duties will include:

* Handling day to day customer queries
* Day to day credit control functions (including: processing new account applications, checking creditworthiness of account applicants, obtaining new credit insurance limits, variations to customer payment terms and credit limits, debt collection, ensuring customers sign T&Cs and where appropriate rebate and consignment stock agreements)
* Supporting the CM in mitigating financial risk (including fraud risk and credit risk) in respect of credit sales to customers within the context of the credit insurance policy and the sales ethos of the company
* Processing customer credit notes from the Returns system and monthly / quarterly sales rebate credit notes
* Day to day Sales Ledger processing: S/L receipts, allocations, daily and monthly ledger reconciliations, monthly control accounts
* Supporting the CM in liaising with Regional Sales Managers to ensure our internal programme for auditing Consignment Stock is carried out according to a risk-based approach and reporting periodically to the Finance Director on progress towards each year's target number of test counts
* Manage and control customer annual target rebates and a master list of all customer rebates
* Supporting the CM in producing the data for credit control meetings
* Any other ad hoc duties

In order to be considered for this role, applicants will possess the following skills:

* GCSE Maths & English (A*-C)
* IT literate including Excel (pivot tables and look ups)
* Professional and mature working attitude
