Finance Manager

Location : Guildford

12 Month Maternity Contract

Salary £35-45,000 + benefits

My client who are a women’s health clinic are looking for a Finance Manager to join their team to cover maternity for 12 months. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong financial controls and you will be responsible for the Accounts for the clinic and you will be working alongside an Accountant. The purpose of this role is to lead and manage the effective operations of all Finances.

Key Responsibilities

Monitoring reporting systems, preparing accurate financial reports and statements, interpreting data, preparing and publishing all financial documents and ensuring adherence to industry regulations

Managing accounting, budget, reforecasting, balance sheet, cash flow and reviewing cost-reduction strategies

Preparation of payroll and pension

Maintaining and developing external relationships with auditors, solicitors, bankers and other statutory organisations

Controlling cash flow with daily monitoring

Analysing financial data

Coordinating audit processes

Liaising with the Senior Management team

Management of Quickbooks – receipts, invoices and payments

Bank Reconciliation

Consultants activity and invoices

Stock Management and journal

Prepaid Journal

Supplier management

Payroll payments

Managing Pension scheme

Person Specification

Proven experience in finance management

Excellent communication skills

Strong leadership qualities

Excellent interpersonal skills

Sound knowledge of accounting fundamentals

Auditing experience

Compliance oriented

Proficiency in accounting software

Analytical skills

A can-do, positive attitude

Quickbooks Experience (must have)
