Job Description
Finance Section Manager
In order to support our clients Business plans we are looking for a Manager to head up their Financial Accounts Section and support their Finance Department Manager.

The successful candidate will lead the Finance Department with the following key objectives:
* Manage Accounts payable team and Accounts Assistants.
* Oversee reporting of Fixed Assets, Banking, AP and AR ledgers and other balance sheet reconciliations.
* Checking and approving online bank payments
* Preparation of Monthly Accounts to strict deadlines and report to group.
* Support internal and external audit processes.
* Ensure compliance with Group policies
* Ensure Compliance with UK/International accounting standards
* Improve current processes and practices.
In addition, the successful candidate will be;
* Qualified Accountant either, CIMA, ACCA,ICAS,ICEW.
* Have a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience ideally within Manufacturing.
* Strong working knowledge of IFRS
* Have excellent interpersonal skills and be adept at interacting with individuals of all levels within the organisation
* A Strong people management background.
* Excellent proven analytical and problem solving skills
* Ability to work within a fast paced environment
* Good communication skills both written and verbal.
* Improve current processes and practices.
* Demonstrate a positive approach to continuous improvement.
