Job Description
Finance Manager, Chelmsford
Salary – £45k – £53k

We are working with a company who are an industry leader in their specific field with over 20 years' experience. They have a full-time position available within their Finance department, offering you the opportunity to manage a small and friendly team. To be successful you will need to have previous experience in a similar role, along with relevant qualifications. You must also have practical experience of using Sage Accounts.

Duties will include:

Management of a team of 4 within the Finance department, while reporting to the Finance Director
Implement KPI's to analyse performance and monitor trends
Develop existing processes
Preparation of monthly management accounts including forecasting and management packs for budget holders
Reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts
Assist with periodic external audits
Cash flow and treasury management
Identify and implement cost reduction initiativesFor this role you will need excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with advanced excel skills. A proven ability to solve problems and create processes for others to follow, plus the ability to work under pressure to achieve deadlines.
