Finance Manager, Banbury

As they continue to expand their operations throughout the UK and overseas, they now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, Finance Manager to help ensure the daily activities of the finance function are delivered on time, every time.

You’ll be working Monday – Friday from 9.00 – 5.00, predominantly from their Banbury HQ, although you will have the opportunity to work 2 days a week from home. Let’s not forget there’s work to do too, here’s what your responsibilities will look like:
* Reporting to the Financial Controller, your task will be to ensure the month-end process is delivered in a timely and accurate manner
* Line Management of one direct report with indirect management (At times) of the transactional finance team (3 heads)
* Oversee the day-to-day and monthly financial transactions, ensuring that accurate data is recorded on the ERP system
* Balance Sheet reconciliations
* Signing off journals for posting
* Support the production of the Monthly Management Accounts pack for final review
* Cashflow review and forecasts
* VAT and Sales Tax reporting
* Generation of ad-hic reports on business performance
* Other tasks as required to support the Financial Controller
Attributes you’ll need to succeed:
OK, so you’ve hopefully already guessed you will need to be an experienced Finance professional. Someone with a strong ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the business and someone who can articulate technical finance matters to finance and non-finance colleagues. The role will suit if you are seeking to continue to grow professionally and are passionate about delivering success. Strong systems experience and in particular, any exposure to working with NetSuite would be highly advantageous
