We are currently looking for a PQ Finance Business Partner to join one of the world’s largest Research Organisations. Our client is passionate about combining thematic and technical experts globally with local knowledge to deliver top-quality research. You will be joining a finance team supporting the Finance lead for four service lines, producing monthly management accounts, financial information for the business and to help staff manage the financial aspects of their jobs.

Key Requirements:

* Providing financial support and analysis for the researchers and leadership teams
* Producing and delivering monthly financials and reports
* Deputising for the Senior Finance Business Partner as and when required
* Managing the financial integrity of projects, highlighting issues to project owners and sorting out any irregularities
* Reviewing & reporting on project performance, including profitability at both project and client level
* Be the financial reference for executives in the division: help them through procedures, quotes and the structuring of project finances
* Reporting on KPIs and support the month end process
* Deal with ad-hoc finance queries
* Provide ad-hoc analysis when requested, assisting with year-end and mid-year external audits
* Constant focus on efficiency/streamlining of processes
* Managing multiple stakeholder expectations
Key Skills:
*
* Prior experience of working within a finance function with high attention to detail & Advanced MS Excel/PowerPoint skills
* Pursuing personal development by studying towards professional accounting exams (ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
* Very good communication skills, written and verbal
* Ability to work independently, under pressure and collaboratively
* High level of drive and initiative, especially around process improvement
* Confident in own ability, particularly when explaining financial concepts to non-financial people
* Good interpersonal & stakeholder management skills
