Job Description
IN2 Consult – Credit Controller – Reading – Full-time, permanent – £26,000 to £30,000 base salary – Hybrid 3 days in office, 2 days working remote – Debt collection/ Credit Control

IN2 Consult are currently supporting a UK based market leading organisation who have bounced back and since grown after the effects of the pandemic. This client is currently recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller to join their business on a full-time, permanent basis and this role will be reporting into the Credit Manager.

Key Duties involved in this Credit Controller vacancy are as follows:

Chasing outstanding debt from existing customers – ensuring the debt is collected within the companies timeframes.
Negotiate maximizing revenue and mitigating credit risk when chasing client
Ownership of accounts ensuring smooth transition from invoice to payment including query resolution
Maintaining Accuracy of records
Improve and implement debt collection processes when there are any overdue invoices or payments, and initiate legal proceedings if necessary
Understanding of client needs and payment terms
Key experience required for this Credit Controller vacancy are as follows:

Minimum 2 years credit control/ debt collection experience
B2B credit control experience – DESIRABLE
Ability to build positive working relationships with suppliers – DESIRABLE
