Kenton Black Finance are delighted to be working in partnership with one of the areas leading companies who have been operating for over 70 years. This company is the largest independent distributor based in North West and due to recent growth our client is looking to hire a new Credit Controller on a permanent basis to support the demand in workload and continued growth plans.

Your new role as a Credit Controller:

As the Controller you will report into the Financial Controller, this will be a stand alone role from a Credit Control perspective, however you will join an existing finance team of six. The purpose of your role as a Credit Controller will be to ensure all debts are chased and collected via phone, letter or email within a timely manner, working to targets and maintaining excellent relationships.

Day to day duties include:
• Managing a ledger of (Apply online only) accounts
• Sales ledger
• Reconciliations
• Banking weekly
• Working to targets
• Taking and allocating payments
• Dealing with queries
• Issuing statements
• Escalating to legal if necessary
• Accounts administration

Experience & Qualifications Required to apply:

• Ability to work to targets and strict deadlines
• Excellent telephone manner
• Strong IT skills, including Outlook, Excel and Accounts Packages
