Job Description
Credit Controller
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Credit Controller to be part of the Finance team. This role will be a full-time permanent position (40 hours per week). Some remote/home working maybe available but in the short term this should be considered as an office-based role.
The main purpose of the role is to collect outstanding debt due from customers in accordance with the company’s credit terms and identify, record, and co-ordinate the resolution of any disputes with customers

Market Harborough, Leicestershire.
Shifts:
Monday-Friday.
40 hours per week.

Rate of pay:
£23,000 – £25,000 D.O.E.
Duties:
-Collecting outstanding debt on allocated accounts by telephone, written communication and use of field reps within agreed timescales and maintain accurate records of all such activity.
-Respond promptly and completely to both customer and internal queries.
-Making follow up calls to ensure that all queries are resolved, and debts are paid in a timely and efficient manner.
-Referral of accounts to our legal team and debt collection agencies where appropriate and dealing with any issues arising.
-Monitoring customer credit limits and maintaining company credit policies. Analysing on-line credit rating agency information and setting up credit limits when needed.
-General administrative duties. Ad- hoc duties as requested by the Head of Finance.
What you will bring to this role
* Experience in Infor M3 is an advantage but not a pre-requisite
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook is essential. The candidate should be able to do filters, order a data base, vlookups and sums in excel.
* Experience of working in a credit control, accounts department or customer service in a busy environment.
* An ability to work well under pressure whilst applying keen commercial judgment and maintaining a customer service ethic.
* Excellent communication & organisational skills.
* Be flexible, self-motivated and a team player.
* Good telephone manner.
