Job Description
Elevation Accountancy & Finance are really pleased to be working in partnership with a well-established business based in Hull as they look to expand their growing team and appoint a Credit Control professional to join them on full time, permanent basis.

Working as part of a team, you will be required to undertake all aspects of credit control including accurate daily invoicing and cash allocation. You must be an excellent communicator with good negotiation and decision-making skills, as well as being organised, methodical and analytical.

Credit Control duties will include:

* Managing live accounts
* Raising invoices for payment
* Collecting payments once received
* Allocating payments
* Dealing with all related queries and reporting via phone and e-mail
* Credit risk assessing
* Setting up payment terms and credit limits
* Driving improvements

Person Specification:

* Strong credit control experience and ideally worked in a manufacturing / construction environment
* Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills
* Ability to build relationships with both internal and external customers
* Have a good working knowledge of Excel, V Lookup, Pivot Tables, Word and Outlook
* Working to deadlines and targets
* A keen eye for detail and a flexible approach
* GCSE Grade C or above Maths & English or equivalent
