Job Description
Credit Controller – Billingham – OTE £23,800
My client
Established commercial main dealership with over 50 years of operating over 7 dealerships.
My client wishes to employ a Credit Controller to join their busy finance team based in Billingham.
The Job of the Credit Controller
Managing any aged debt to ensure no invoices fall overdue
Ensuring debtor days are kept at or below a specific target
Risk Management to ensure credit limits are appropriate and adhered too at all times
Reviewing new account applications & presenting proposals to the Finance Director as to whether they should be opened
Ensuring cash postings & allocations are performed correctly
Dealing with customer queries in a quick & efficient timeframe
Working with the branches to ensure queries are addressed & helping put actions in place to prevent future
The ideal candidate
Ideally at least 2 years experience within a similar role
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
High level of attention to detail & good communication skills
Ability to handle large amounts of data & collate using Excel skills
Experience in Purchase Ledger would also be very beneficial as there could be future promotion opportunities
Knowledge of Keyloop (formerly Kerridge) is preferred but is not essential
