About Our Client
We are currently working with one the UK's largest and most successful Fresh Produce growers. They operate a number of businesses that each focus on a different sector/speciality and this particular position will be at their Paddock Wood site.
About the Role
The primary focus will be to provide quality financial insights to the business units to enable them to make sound business decisions. Someone who thrives on financial analysis to understand the key drivers of performance – which you are skilled in articulating simply.
It's a heavily deadline driven role & you'll need to enjoy the usual financial rhythms (month-end, year-end & annual budget cycles), but also good at initiating new projects which you believe will deliver improvements. A key focus of the role is profitability analysis which requires liaison with our commercial teams, so it's important that you're a strong communicator who enjoys interacting across teams.
The Ideal Candidate
To be considered for this role you'll need to be ACCA or CIMA qualified or currently studying towards. Previous experience in a manufacturing/costing environment with knowledge in product trading is a must. You'll ideally be familiar with SAP (ECC6) and experience of working in Management Accounting. Other traits our client is looking for is someone who has excellent attention to detail, organised and enjoys a challenge.
