Job Description
An Accounts Assistant is required to join a Chartered Accountancy Practice based in Blackburn. The Accounts Assistant will be responsible for VAT and tax returns, financial statement preparation and bookkeeping.

The successful candidate will be fully AAT qualified with previous experience within a similar position. Study support will be provided to the Accounts Assistant to help them develop their knowledge within accountancy.

Accounts Assistant Position Requirements

AAT fully qualified / currently studying AAT level 4
2+ years Accountancy Practice experience
Financial Statement Preparation experience
VAT and Tax return experience
Bookkeeping experience
Cloud accounting software knowledge essential
Previous experience with Dext and Xero
The ability to work independently on tasks

Accounts Assistant Position Remuneration

Salary £21,000 to £24,000 depending on experience
20 days holiday plus Bank Holidays and Christmas shut down
