Our client is a leading accountancy firm based in Stoke on Trent who are looking for an Audit Senior to join their team. This is a great opportunity for either a fully or part ACA/ACCA qualified individual with audit experience within an accountancy practice. Job Description:
 
Duties for the Audit Senior role include:

Assist in managing audits for a portfolio of clients including limited companies and groups, charities, pension schemes, solicitors and other entities
Completion of audit assignments from planning through to manager/director completion review
Review of statutory accounts for limited companies and groups, and other client entities
Preparation of reports to/briefing notes for directors on matters outstanding and for discussion with the client
Reviewing the work done by more junior staff to ensure that it is adequate in terms of meeting the firm’s regulatory requirements and it’s duty to clients
Dealing with client queries and those of other organisations in respect of clients’ affairs
Ensuring that all client work is efficiently and effectively performed to deadlines
Promoting the firm’s services to clients and prospective clients
Assisting in developing the technical, professional and personal knowledge and skills of more junior staff
Drafting letters, reports etc. to clients and other persons in connection with your responsibilities  For the Auditor role, it would be good to see candidates who:

Are a newly or recently qualified chartered accountant or are currently studying with ICAEW or ACCA
Has audit and accounts experience in a practice environment
Possesses good communication skills
Has strong IT skills including Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Can work effectively within a team and as an individual
Can work with minimal supervision
Has a full UK driving licence and access to a car Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, flexi time Salary: £29,000 – £31,000 per annum
