Job Description
A brilliant opportunity for an Assistant Financial Accountant has arisen in a multi-national company in Southall. This role comes with excellent opportunity to learn new skills and expand your career, reporting to the financial accountant and working closely with the head of finance!

This role will lead month end close and take ownership when the department is ready for audit. Working in a friendly team of 4, supporting the business in its financial reporting.

The company also offer on-site parking and study support.

Key responsibilities

Month end (accruals, prepayments)
Business partnering with operations
Preparation of draft month end reports and month end reports
Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliation
Assist with external reporting for financial stakeholders
Involvement with year end audit
Assist with preparation for budgets and forecastsPerson Specification

CIMA or ACCA PQ (preferred)
Minimum of 12 months experience in a similar role
Strong technical skills
Good knowledge of excel
Positive attitude
Ability to work collaboratively to achieve goals
Identify and help resolve issues
