Job Description
ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT. RECfinancial are delighted to be recruiting exclusively for this Leicestershire based business as they continue to grow and shape for the future.
Based near Oakham, the business has seen significant and exciting changes more recently and are now looking to strengthen their Finance team with the appointment of an Accounts Assistant.
What Is the Role?
Reporting into Senior Finance, the Accounts Assistant role will be to support all aspects of general accounting and finance within the Finance Team and to contribute to the achievement of financial objectives.
What Do They Want as an Accounts Assistant?
Ideally being part/fully qualified AAT or QBE, you will possess strong Accounts knowledge to include the following;

Purchase ledger, matching and coding invoices
Sales ledger, BACs, cash allocation etc
Bank/statement reconciliations
Journals
Credit Control
Payroll (ideal but not essential)
Sage Line 50 (ideal but not essential)
Other ad hoc duties
Who Do They Want as an Accounts Assistant?
This role is very much focused on having the right attitude and aptitude. Being an Accounts Assistant is necessary but having a strong focus in Accounting is essential. As an individual, you will have the drive, passion and hunger to grow within the role. My clients will also consider candidates with a Practice background.
