Job Description
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an eager Accounts Assistant to join a well-known global retailer on an initial 6-month contract with the strong likelihood of extension.

You will pay a key role in their busy team, partnering with the Financial Accountant and Financial Analyst team. You will be based in the Northampton office 2 days a week, the remaining 3 days working fully remote.

You will be responsible for:

Completing month end tasks to a high standard, adhering to tight deadlines.

The preparation of the monthly balance sheet, resolving any discrepancies.

Maintaining the general ledger.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone to join a unique and positive work environment, whilst adding a household name to your CV.

You will need to:

Have a strong understanding of month end tasks, with a keen eye for accuracy.

Be a confident user of Microsoft Excel, particularly in VLookups and pivot tables.

Have the ability to meet tight deadlines and support the wider team where necessary.

This role is paying up to £12-£15 per hour, inclusive of holiday.
