Accounts Assistant Job in Kingston upon Hull, City of Kingston upon Hull

Job Description
On behalf of our client, a market leader in their field and with operations nationally, Kingston Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to work from the Head Office based in east Hull.

Working in a team that supports branches all over the the UK, the successful candidate will ensure the monthly accounting routines are completed & work on finance projects – servicing both internal and external customers

Duties & Responsibilities

Assist in the production of the monthly accounts.
Analysing data to produce management reports
Daily bank reconciliations
Reconciling Sales Ledger receipt postings
Processing website receipts / reconciling to cash tills daily and dealing with posting queries
Distribution of overhead invoices following approval process and coding invoices to correct nominal code
Maintaining the fixed asset register
Monthly Balance sheet reconciliations
Taking ownership of groups of o/h suppliers and ensuring costs associated are reflected in monthly accounts.
Assisting in finance projects to enhance and improve systems and procedures
Ad hoc duties as and when required.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

Experience of handling fast flowing workload efficiently and effectively Accuracy and attention to detail
Strong numeric ability
IT literate
Good communication and customer service skills

Working full time hours, Monday to Friday.
