Accounts and Tax Assistant

Attleborough

£22k-£27k plus study support & agile working

Keeler Recruitment are supporting our client on a new opportunity for an Accounts and Tax Assistant based in Attleborough.

You must be AAT qualified with some practice experience dealing with accounts and tax compliance. With the support of the senior members of the team, you will provide accounts and tax services to the company's varied portfolio of clients. Experience of Sage, QuickBooks Online or Xero software would be beneficial.

In your role as Accounts and Tax Assistant, you will also be responsible for:

Preparing accounts of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies;
Drafting personal tax returns and corporation tax computations;
Preparing VAT returns and management accounts;
Assisting the portfolio holders with day-to-day queries from clients and there may be the possibility to review work of the more junior members of the team (depending on the candidate's knowledge and experience);
Assisting more junior members of the team with their queries when required.
