Accountant – Practice 

£26,000 – £35,000

Shipley – Close to Salts Mill

Flexible to consider 30 -37.5 hours Monday To Friday

A diverse and enthusiastic accountancy practice in Bradford are looking for an experienced Accountant to join the team and help grow the business.I am looking for a Senior Accountant who is keen to become a client manager. Working in a variety of sectors you will enjoy the variety of work and fast paced environment that they can offer in this busy Bradford practice.

Accounts preparation from both incomplete records and computerised records
Company and personal tax return preparation
Liaising with clients on all accounting matters
VAT return / Bookkeeping assistance where required during busy periods
New clients introduction
Payroll.
Bookkeeping
Production of accounting reports, including profit and loss statements, debtor/creditor reports.
General accounts and office administrative support.
Recruitment
You will need to be familiar with QuickBooks, Sage 50 and Xero programmes along with confidence using Excel.

Assisting the Practice Owner with daily functional accounts processes for the company and their clients.

The role incorporates a variety of tasks and you will manage the business & colleagues in the owners absence.

ACA or ACCA qualified.
A minimum of 2 years recent experience within a qualified accountancy practice.
Excellent working knowledge of Accounts Preparation for a range of businesses including Sole Traders, Ltd Companies and Partnerships.
Ability to use own initiative, to work under pressure and to deadlines.
Ability to drive new business.
