Location: Poole. Hybrid working available (60% office based, 40% home based)

Full Time, permanent contract
Salary: up to £35,000 p/a (doe) + benefits

As a company Accountant, you will be a key part of the Finance Team in the head office in Poole.

Snapshot of duties and responsibilities for the right Accountant candidate:

* You will be preparing the management accounts for two international subsidiaries of the group (assisting with all month end processes to prepare the management accounts including, processing accruals, prepayments and journals, profit and loss and balance sheet reconciliations)

* You will assist in the Intrastat and VAT submissions, cash flow forecasting, audit queries and analysis for these 2 international subsidiaries

* You will be preparing the payroll of head office and subsidiaries for submission to the payroll bureau, as well as compiling/posting payroll journals

The successful Accountant candidate will need:

* Accounting qualification (AAT 4 level or equivalent)
* Knowledge of German language would be advantage but not essential
* Previous experience with month end process, so you can instantly add value (Full training will be provided * to aid with your development in this position)
* Payroll experience
* Intermediate to advanced level of excel skills, are efficient and organised to meet deadlines
* You love to be part of a team, with a desire to learn and grow in the function
