Job Description
Accountant (Practice)
Location: Harlow
Salary: £50,000

We are currently supporting our client with recruiting an experienced Accountant to join their well-established practice in Harlow. This office-based position also offers a good company culture, free parking, and an excellent training programme available for staff across the business.

Duties will include but not be limited to:

Preparing company accounts across a broad range of sectors, for companies, sole traders and partnerships
Prepare client accounts based on information supplied by the client
Liaise with clients on account queries and other matters as appropriate
Prepare business tax computations, partnership, and personal tax returns
Assist with client queries regarding aspects of their bookkeeping and other business matters as requiredYou will need an understanding of payroll, VAT, corporate and personal tax, plus a minimum of 5 years in a public practice accountancy firm is essential. You must also be ACA or ACCA part qualified, qualified or equivalent to be successful in this role.

To be an appreciated member of this team you will have good communication and people skills, along with the ability to work well with others. You must be proactive and be able to prioritise work to meet demanding deadlines.

Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours per week
