Job Description
Thriving Ilford based Accountancy Practice seeks an experienced and confident, Qualified Senior Accountant to join the team in a Senior role with excellent scope to progress further within a group of 90 accountancy practices across the UK. If you are a ACCA/ ACA Qualified Accountant and seeking a Practice where you can begin to build towards partnership status and independently manage a mixed portfolio of up to 200 clients this role is ideal. Portfolio includes clients up to £30m turnover and specialises in Property investment, and Logistics and Transport companies as well as having a variety of other clients.

As Client Manager, you will report to the Partners and have a small team of Junior Accountants reporting into you. You will be expected to be experienced and confident in all aspects of Accountancy and Audit to deliver top quality service to your portfolio of clients.

Client Portfolio Manager Position Overview

Hands on Accounts responsibilities to include statutory accounts, VAT, corporation and personal tax etc
Portfolio Management; you will be given your own portfolio of 200 mixed value clients who you will be expected to manage independently and professionally.
Business development to increase your portfolio
Working closely with the Partners
Leading the office team, particularly in Audits (around 8 per year)
Planning and undertaking audits with assistance from Accounts Juniors / Semi-SeniorsClient Portfolio Manager Position Requirements

ACCA or ACA Qualified
Confident using a variety of Accountancy Software
5-10 years' experience in UK Accountancy Practice
Mixed Audit and Accounts experience
Ambitious and keen to progress

Client Portfolio Manager Position Remuneration

Salary: £50,000 – £(phone number removed) + Dependent on experience
Working Hours: Mon – Fri

Full time, Permanent
09.00 – 17.30 hours
20 days + Bank
Hybrid working available, mostly office based
