VP Finance Business Partner- Markets & Control Job in Cheshire

Job Description
As a Finance Business Partner – Markets & Control , your role is within first line of defence responsible for ensuring effective governance is maintained across key technology processes underpinning controls, to strengthen the control environment; and provide expert technology risk advice across BI Markets technology areas. In particular, your role will have a focus on supporting the BI markets business focusing on the design and delivery of broad range of technologies into the markets businesses.

We are currently operating in a hybrid working environment, meaning that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. Please discuss the detail of the working pattern options for the role with the hiring manager.

Responsibilities
* Partnering with the CIOs, Operations, business and other parts of technology organisation
* Understanding the business and technology priorities and strategy
* Acting as the point of coordination and syndication of all CCO Services
* Applying judgement and balance of risk vs. business interest
* Driving high quality risk management in line with strategy, regulation, Group frameworks and policies
* Providing robust, effective and insightful, analysis and reporting to provides business AEs with a clear view of their complete risk profile

What we're looking for:
* Experience engaging with assurance teams on plans, progress and results for assurance activity
* Broad knowledge of the Operational Risk Management Frameworks
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a proven problem solver
* Excellent analytical, decision making and investigatory skills

Key Skills :
* Experience in working with senior stakeholders at BU, Group, internal or external partners
* Proven ability to engage and influence key stakeholders
* Proven track record for change agent for embedding and driving a solid risk and control governance culture and understand all risk management objectives and requirements
* Practical experience of Risk and Control governance activities including scheduled Annual Risk Assessment (RCSA)
