Job Description
We are recruiting for Underwriting Administrators within a busy finance company, based in Redditch.

Working in a dedicated team responsible for the pre-qualification and underwriting of Hire Purchase applications. Management and co-ordination of cases from initial pre-qualification through to pay our.

Responsibilities

* Analysing information provided by credit reference agencies to ensure applicants meet the companies lending criteria as per the lending policy

* Responding to customers and dealers via phone, email and letters

* To assess customers suitability for a loan application using information and or documentation provided by the customer and information gained through third parties

* Liaising extensively with dealers and partners throughout the application to provide the best possible customer journey

* Assess documentation provided by customers to ensure accuracy and suitability of the loan offering

* Processing payouts and producing loan completion documentation

* Undertaking security checks and vehicle checks using various in-house and external search tools

* Working with absolute professionalism and recognition of the level of responsibility the job role requires

Requirements

* Strong administration experience in a fast paced environment

* Excellent verbal and written skills

* Ability to prioritise workload on a daily basis

* Ability to use information to make informed decisions based on facts

* Excellent attention to detail

* Ability to engage with customers and build a rapport

* Be able to work on own initiative and as part of a team

Benefits

* Salary £21,000-£22,500 per annum

* 25 days holiday plus bank holidays increasing incrementally
