Temporary Financial Accountant Job in Alfreton, Derbyshire
Job Description
We are partnering with a growing SME who is looking to recruit for a temporary Financial Accountant for an initial contract of 6 months.
* Take the project Finance lead on migrating to new accounting system
* Monthly reporting for all companies
* Monthly balance sheet reconciliation’s identification of any errors and the resolution of any differences identified.
* Bank reconciliations, cashflow reporting, updating, and maintaining cashflow. with payments and moving cash
* Assisting the in production of statutory accounts for all group companies, including support with external auditors.
* Preparing and submitting monthly, quarterly, and annual National Statistics returns accurately and on time.
* Taking responsibility for the maintenance of the fixed asset registers
* Detailed reconciliation of intercompany accounts including recharging and interest reconciliation.
* Submitting the Group VAT returns and payments

To be successful you will be an experienced accountant and available at short notice. You will be an organised and analytical individual with a proactive approach to problem solving. You will be confident in managing project work
