Tax Investigations Manager – Membership Organisation – Milton Keynes (with 3 days per week WFH) – Circa £60,000-£70,000
Robert Walters are hiring for an Tax Investigations Manager for a leading membership body for accountants.
This is a permanent, full-time role based in their Milton Keynes office, but supporting 3 days per week working from home / remote working.
The position comes with a salary of circa £60k-£65k plus a great benefits package.
The Tax Investigations Manager is tasked with conducting investigations into tax work carried out by this organisation's members, resulting out of disputes or complaints – This can include all types of tax work, e.g. corporation tax, indirect tax, personal tax etc
The Manager will speak to both parties, collect information and documentation, and conduct an investigation into the issue, which could either be technical or ethical in nature.
Once the investigation is complete the Manager will write a report on the case along with a recommendation of any further action.
This is a fairly unique role for an tax or accounting professional and therefore would suit someone working in an accountancy firm who wants a new, interesting, varied role.

The company are looking for a qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / ICAS / CTA etc) with experience working in practice in a general tax role at a managerial level or above – Due to the breadth of tax work this role covers, it would suit best someone with varied tax experience
