Job Description
Currently recruiting for a Support Analyst to join my clients team on a 12 month FTC paying up to £65,000 d/e.

You will be joining one of the oldest and most established financial institutions in the heart of London.

As the Support Analyst you will be responsible for the following:

Providing 2nd and 3rd line support for the application suite
Drive process and documentation improvements
Troubleshoot any issues that arise and implement fixes as required
Documentation of incidents, systems, changes, implementations.
Analyse existing applications and be able to use a continual service improvement approach; identify and assess potential improvements for both technical and business suitability.
Monitor the environment/platform/applicationsEssential Skills:

Understanding of ITIL concepts for service delivery
Database technology/query language (e.g. MS SQL server, Oracle)
Knowledge of business systems and digital applications
Process improvement and extensive documentation experience (Confluence/JIRA)
Previous experience working in an application support role, supporting front and back end applicationsDesirable Skills:

Experience working in Financial Services
University degree, ideally in an IT-related subject
Understanding of Cloud and emerging technologies
Application/Platform Monitoring tools
Middleware knowledge
Automation experienceThis is a hybrid position with 1-2 days onsite per week in Central London.
