Job Description
Key Responsibilities:

The role will support the Category Lead in driving the Procurement/SRM transformation through the leading on key strategic suppliers
The successful individual will be leading on the translation of the Procurement strategy into operational excellence through governance and oversight of major, Tier 1 supplier relationships across the bank
The role helps ensure that quality, compliance, and cost-effectiveness of the work delivered by suppliers meets the banks expectations
Executing SRM in a manner that supports the Procurement transformation
Dirving proper process and behaviours across the business with supplier management
Educating the business and stakeholders at all levels on the impact changes can make, any risks and issues and how these can be mitigated through best in class supplier management
Identifying, assessing, managing, and reporting risks, taking proactive accountability for compliance with regulatory requirements and the banks frameworks and policies
Managing change programmes to increase simplicity and business buy in to supplier management process and systems
Driving continuous improvement activity with key suppliersKey Skills:

Experience Managing Tier 1 Suppliers across areas within IT such as Software, Outsourcing/IT Services, Networks/Telecoms
Knowledge of IT Contract Management best practice and an ability to drive continuous improvement activity with suppliers
Knowledge of Software Asset Management would be beneficial
Track record of introducing innovation to one or more of the Software, Outsourcing/IT Services, Networks/Telecoms areas
A track record of strong supplier relationship management – able to influence supplier relationships to achieve maximum value/performance
Able to influence internal relationships and stakeholders as well as external
Resilient individual with a proactive approach
Spanish or other language skills is beneficial
