Job Description
Elevation Recruitment Group Accountancy & Finance have an excellent opportunity for an ambitious, Strategic Credit Controller to join a key client based in the Worksop area as they look to expand their busy finance function!

This is a fantastic role in a fast paced environment where you can really get stuck into the duties and have full autonomy of your role. Duties & Responsibilities Include:

– Chasing customer payments in line with payment terms to minimise bad debt on Key Strategic customers
– Handling of all interactions received into Credit Control ensuring all requests are completed and successfully resolved within the agreed service level
– Look for process improvement opportunity for service delivery
– Work to daily outbound phone targets set by team leader
– Work to individual and Business Debt reduction targets and Cash Collection
– Work on customer disputes to help minimise outstanding debt and escalate to the appropriate Business owners
– Creating and categorising outbound service requests
– Assisting with on-going training for all staff in the Credit Control team, where required
– Be a first point of contact, for guidance, for team members on the issues that do not fall within standard process
– Assist the Team Leader with providing monthly reporting to the team

Key Skills & Experience:

– Strong skills in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint
– Numerate and Literate
– An understanding of Finance systems
– Team Player must be willing to help, support and encourage colleagues
– Good time management skills to ensure own and team targets are prioritised.
– Ability to keep calm under pressure
