Job Description
Role: Statutory Accountant
Contracting Authority: Advanced
Contract: 6 Months
Location: Birmingham
Role Introduction
Experienced statutory accountant required to support the delivery of all financial statements for the Advanced Group of Companies including the migration of accounts onto the Caseware accounts preparation software.
The Role
Work with the Group Financial Control team to:
Transfer all 2021 UK company accounts onto Caseware and roll forward so that 2022 accounts can be prepared
Finalise and file any outstanding 2021 UK company accounts
Identify and propose a process for preparing and filing the Group's overseas subsidiary accounts
Set up reporting packs and extract files to allow efficient collation of statutory data for disclosure in the financial statements
Person Specification
A qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA) with 2-3 years post qualified experience working in either an accounting firm or company specialising in the drafting of financial statements
Up to date working knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS
Ability to work autonomously
Preferably experience of using Caseware
