Senior Strategic Pricing Manager – Retail Banking
* Base salary ranges from: £90,000 – £130,000 per Annum based on experience

* Location: Flexible working – remote working plus some travel to a local office in the UK (London, Bristol, Halifax, and Leeds)
Our client is a leading retail bank in the UK, they are committed to making a genuine difference to families, businesses and communities and are playing a central role in building a growing UK economy.
Due to growth and continued development, they are currently looking for a Senior Strategic Pricing Manager to join the team on a permanent basis. This role would be working within a new transformation focussed team which has been established to look at the capability for tomorrow when it comes to using advanced pricing and data science techniques within our clients Mortgages product line. As this is a new team, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in leading and delivering new pricing and modelling capability, and this is therefore a very exciting opportunity for someone who has a strong background in pricing analysis and a history in using Python to deliver analytical solutions.
This pricing team currently sits within a matrix structure and works alongside experienced data engineers and data scientists as well as confident pricing professionals. The team are using Python and advanced AI/ML techniques to deliver complex modelling solutions but are also working closely stakeholders to explain and evidence the value of introducing new processes and strategies. Therefore, we are looking for someone who enjoys defining change, and can lead a team to show the value of new tools and techniques.
What are we looking for?
* An experienced Pricing/Analytics Manager with a proven track record of delivering new analytics / data science strategies in a Retail Financial Services background.
* Strong background in hands-on pricing analysis / model development (linear regression, GBM, Capital models, price elasticity, random forest)
* Strong user of Python
* Confident with a variety of coding languages such as SQL & SAS would be advantageous
* Experience in designing, testing and deploying new pricing capabilities or business processes to deliver
* Skilled in delivering transformational change, with the ability to deliver strategic change through incremental value releases.
* Strong communications skills with the ability to apply a structured approach to problem solving, effectively prioritising backlogs to deliver value.
