Job Description
Kenton Black are proud to represent a friendly and stable accountancy practice within the Leicester city area who due to continued increases in business levels are now seeking to appoint a HYBRID Senior Payroll Executive. Working as part of a friendly and supportive team of 5, you will undertake a busy and varied role dealing with your own portfolio of clients, running both small and large numbers of employees ranging from 1 director to 200 employees across your client base via a SAGE 50 system. In addition, you will undertake a full end to end payroll processing role, answering queries, obtaining information and undertaking administration duties.

This is a great opportunity to join a friendly, stable team for an experienced individual with previous end to end payroll processing experience gained within either an accountancy firm OR inhouse payroll position!

Duties included but not limited to:

Full end to end Payroll processing – Sage 50 (knowledge of SAGE is essential)
Dealing with SMP/SSP
HMRC liaison
Auto-enrolment pension processing
Dealing with client queries over the telephone
Collating and inputting of payroll information
Working as part of a busy payroll team
General administration duties

Person Specification:

Previous experience of running weekly/monthly payrolls end to end (mostly monthly payrolls undertaken)
Knowledge of SAGE 50 (essential)
Auto-enrolment pensions experience
Client liaison experience, able to deal with payroll queries
Friendly personality, able to work in a team environment

Salary: to c £30K + HYBRID Working (2 days home) + flexible working hours including early Friday finish + 22 days hols + Parking!
