Job Description
Experienced Senior Payroll Assistant, part time (30 hours), required to join a large PLC at their Head Office in Sheffield. They are a leading supplier of building products supplying to customers across Europe.
The purpose of the role is to assist with the management of the relationship between the company and the third-party Payroll provider, ensuring all processed pay data is processed, complete and accurate in accordance with business needs.
The Senior Payroll Assistant will be responsible for:
* Ensuring Payroll service deliverables are met by the third-party Payroll provider.
* Assisting with implementing any required legislative and business need changes and providing advice and guidance to HR colleagues in relation to all aspects of Payroll.
* Assisting with the reconciliation of the UK Payrolls for approval, monitor and adhere to pay related policies and procedures and ensure compliance with legislation at all times.
* Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders to ensure Payroll procedures and deadlines are followed and returns of payroll data are complete and accurate.
* Responsible for Payroll processes that fall outside of the third-party managed payroll service, such as but not limited to, SIP administration, off-Payroll payments, administration of benefit schemes and other internal stakeholder processes.
* Other ad hoc duties as required.
This search is not limited to any industry. Previous payroll experience is key to this recruitment:
* You will be working towards or have a CIPP qualification or equivalent experience.
* Excellent numeracy and organisational skills are essential.
* Good working knowledge of Excel, Word and Payroll systems is required.
* Experience of working with an outsourced payroll before would be advantageous.
