Senior Management Accountant
Maidstone, Kent
Full-time, Permanent
Attractive base salary + 15% annual bonus, 25 days holiday pro-rata (plus Bank Holidays), Travel Insurance, Life Insurance, Critical Illness Cover, Private Medical Insurance, and Pension Scheme.

KHR is currently assisting a leading National FMCG business based near Maidstone who is looking to hire an experienced Management Accountant.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ACCA/ACA/CIMA certified professional to join a reputable and growing national leader in their chosen sector. The Management Accountant will progress into the role of acting Number 2 and will work closely with and support the current Head of Finance.

Roles and Responsibilities of the Management Accountant:

* Assist in the production of accurate Monthly Management Accounts for Senior Management within set timescales
* Provide Financial Reporting to Senior Managers as required
* Provide assistance to the Head of Finance and Group FC
* Assist in the preparation of the monthly Trading Account and Variance Analysis
* Identify and develop improvements in processes and reporting
* Capture and present information to the business to improve understanding and aid decision making.
* Cashflow forecasting and monitoring
* Assisting with the preparation of the annual Budget

Candidate Profile

* A recognised qualification in accounting (CIMA/ ACCA/ACA) – including finalist level candidates
* At least 3 years' experience within a similar role
* Strong appreciation of business needs and resourcefulness in coming up with solutions to their challenges
* Well-developed personal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate with a wide range of staff
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
* Hold a full UK driving license and own vehicle in order to access rural site

Flexible hours of work Monday to Friday (9.00am – 5.30pm, 8.30am – 5.00pm, or 8.00am – 4.30pm)
