Job Description
Senior Finance and Payroll Assistant with HR

Location: Canary Wharf

Salary: up to £40k depending on experience

Hours: 8:30am – 5:00pm

this role will be 100% office-based Monday – Friday

Duties:

Senior Accounts Assistant Responsibilities

Balance and maintain accurate ledgers monthly.
Daily bank reconciliations
Preparation of monthly management accounts
Assist with annual audit
Assist with annual budget preparation
Profit and Loss reconciliations, analysis and reporting
VAT preparation and submission
Statutory filing including companies house and HMRC
Process multi-currency transactions
Processing invoices, chase debts and payment runs
Other miscellaneous tasks as reasonably requested by senior managementPayroll/HR responsibilities

Assist with preparation of monthly commissions
Prepare monthly payroll on Sage
Managing Company Pension scheme, enrolling new employees
Manage HR system
Assist CFO/HR with admin tasks relating to HR staff issues.

Requirements

AAT Qualification level 3 or above
Previous experience within finance duties
An interest in HR
Payroll experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel and QuickBooks
Preferable Sage payroll experience
Able to work under pressure
Good verbal and written communication
Able to multitask including the ability to manage a busy mailbox
Work well in a team
