Job Description
Job Title: Senior Finance Business Partner

Location: Spalding

Basic salary: £43,000 – £50,000 per annum + Car/or allowance + bonus

Type: Permanent

A large and well known Logistics group are recruiting for a Finance Business Partner based out of their offices in Spalding. You'll provide analytical support and business partnering to the operational sites and assist the Financial Reporting Manager identifying areas of improvement from both revenue and efficiency viewpoint. Producing the management accounts and commentary for key areas in the business. Owning allocated balance sheet reconciliations. Experience of commercial or finance function in an operational industry essential.

Planning, insight analysis and reporting and business partnering responsibilities will include:

Support and deliver the 3 year plan and annual budgeting/forecasting cycle
Maintain the rolling forecast to support profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow analysis
Advice stakeholders on KPI's and performance and drive margin improvement
Owning the accounting for designated cost centres, nominal codes or balance sheet codes
Provide commercial analysis and insight to operational management
Developing and ownership of forecasting models
Assisting and supplying information for auditors
Provide business partnering support to the operational management team
Prepare budgets and forecasts for relevant business units

Requirements:

Part of fully qualified accountant
Full driving licence
Relevant experience working in a commercial or finance function in an operational industry
Excel lookups and pivot tables or macros to automate and improve reporting
Experience of presenting and interpreting key information
Previous business partnering experience
Experience in budget and forecasting and operational reporting
