Job Description
Customs Compliance Manager
Customs Compliance manager will be supporting 3 of the companies depots to ensure all levels of customs activity are adhered too. Being a well established company with an excellent reputation you will need to have experience in a similar role.
Experience Required
• Extensive and proven auditing experience specific to setting up internal auditing processes.
• Extensive auditing experience relevant to AEO and ISO
• Experience in setting up internal adulting programmes including audit evidence management. General Knowledge
Knowledge Required
• Good knowledge of IPR/OPR/PCC Management (Inward Processing Relief, Outward Processing Relief
• Proficient in Destin8/CNS/CHIEF/SPIRE/Various Customs Clearance software packages
• ETSF management Air, Road and Sea (security and customs activity)
• Customs Warehouse Management
• Import Licensing experience
• Experience with movements under carnet and temporary admission
• Experience in Transit Accompanying Documents (TADs)-discharges and declarations including authorised consignor/consignee.
• Good working knowledge of the UK Trade Tariffs Volume 1,2,3
• Good working experience of Microsoft Excel and interpreting data.
• Duty Deferment Management
• Good working knowledge of customs regulations e.g. Taxation (Cross-border Trade) Act 2018 and the Customs (Export) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019. Desirable but not essential:
Desirable
• Excise movement guarantee management
• Extensive National Community Transit System experience
• Good working knowledge of Common Transit Convention
• Excise Movement and Control System (EMCS entries and management
• Good knowledge of export licensing and export controls.
• CFSP management
• CSE-customs supervised exports
• AEO certification experience and understanding of AEO requirements
• Export Controls and licensing experience
