We are working with a leading law firm in order to source a Senior Associate within the area of Valuations and Tax. Reporting directly to the CEO, the role will include:

Assisting with client enquiries, in particular producing quick and approximate valuations of corporate assets based on public information.
Attending initial client meetings to understand the issues involved and provide preliminary advice on corporate and trust assets;
Leading analysis on corporate/trust valuations and latent tax liabilities
Analysing the disclosure of corporate/trust assets; providing simple explanations to the client, spotting omissions, errors and questions to be posed;
Briefing and attending meetings with clients
Identifying appropriate single or joint valuation and/or tax experts;
Writing letters of instruction to single or joint valuation or tax experts;
Reviewing the reports of single or joint valuation or tax experts; providing simple explanations of their report; spotting errors and posing questions;
Attending court.
