Job Description
A global automotive component manufacturer require a Sales Ledger Controller to take on management of the UK Sales Ledger. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of Accounts Receivable in a manufacturing environment

Commutable from Telford, Shrewsbury, Hereford, Kidderminster, Worcester

Salary : Circa £28,000 plus excellent benefits

Monday – Friday 0830 – 16.30

Suitable for : Senior Sales ledger Clerk, Sales Ledger Supervisor, Senior Accounts Receivable Clerk, Accounts Receivable Controller

The role

•Self-Billing Reconciliation including Payment on Production
•Daily cash allocations
•Factoring uploads and reconciliation
•Month end reporting inc aged debtors
•Maintain Sales Ledger, matching self-billing invoices, posting cash and reconciling PoP and replacement orders.
•Co-ordinate all Credit Control activities and ensure aged debtor balances within acceptable levels.
•Monitor internal processes to ensure necessary paperwork is submitted to ensure minimal invoice queries
•Factoring – ensure regular uploads and reconciliation of factoring reports and cash allocation to ensure facility fully utilised.
•Prepare any retro invoices and credits.
•Maintain reject notes in good order to agreed levels and liaise with other departments as necessary
•Month end reporting – Sales Planning / analysis / aged debtors / factoring

The person
•AAT qualified/equivalent/QBE
•At least 2 years experience in an accounting role within manufacturing
•Proficient in excel
