Job Description
CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting a Finance Analyst to join the team is Europe/Remotely.

Purpose of the role

This role is a 12 Month FTC for maternity cover.

This Global account is one of the largest contracts that CBRE Global Workplace Solutions holds.

A commercial mindset and a passion for financial control and driving performance is critical to the role.

The role will be accountable to the Regional Finance & Contract Support Manager.

It is key that the Finance Analyst understands procedures, processes and operates them to the required standard, encouraging best practice across the business. Finance is a high proportion of the role.

Key responsibilities

Client Finance

Develop strong relationships with both the Client operational and Client finance teams
Understand the commercial model and enforce governance and compliance to support effective execution
Produce Client reports and provide value add financial commentary in their portfolio
Work with the Client to compile annual budgets & quarterly forecasts
Working closely with operations and commercial team to identify all possible savings opportunities and ensure that financial targets are achieved
Support collation of monthly accruals to Client finance teams
Achieve results within quality and time restraints across multiple locations and countriesCBRE Finance

Completion of Accurate and timely Month End Accounts
Provide direct financial support and expertise to the account
Provide added value financial commentary to support regular, standard financial reports
Working closely with Finance & Contract Support Manager to implement baseline and savings tracking reporting and analysis
Balance sheet preparation and reviews
Provide ad-hoc support to Finance & Contract Support Manager as required
Working closely with the team to identify all possible savings opportunities and ensure that financial targets are achieved
Support compilation of CBRE annual budgets & quarterly forecasts
Ensure finance procedures are adhered to by operations team, and take corrective action / escalate where required · Support in ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as required

Quality

· Site visits and quality assurance

· Policy and procedure compliance

· Understanding/familiarity with PeopleSoft (MyFinance), Dynamics AX, SIZ/FMP, EDP and Cognos

· Support seamless management of contract across multiple regions

· Share best practice and innovation especially around contract terms

· Deliver on customers expectations

People

· Build trusted relationships with client finance team

· Liaise with Contract Support teams around the business

· Involve people and influence decisions

· Culture and behaviour carrier
