Qualified/Nearly Management Accountant
Full time permanent (Hybrid working available)
Maldon
£40,000 – £60,000

New opportunity to support the Group Financial Controller, Stepping in when neccessary.
Reporting into the Group Financial Controller.
• Provide cover for accounts payable and receivable as required
• VAT return and group analysis monthly
• Production of the monthly management accounts and sales reporting forecast in line with the monthly reporting timetable
• Analysing expected margins, financial variances, and financial modelling from a variety of systems
• Producing well-presented, comprehensive, and easy to read reports in Excel
• Working with payroll ensuring that the monthly payrolls are processed accurately and timely and any correspondence is dealt with. Keeping the PAYE/NIC contribution records up to date and accurate
• Production of the annual accounts and support the Group Financial Controller with the development of the finance strategy
• Working with department heads and senior managers in the production of annual departmental budgets and quarterly forecasting to ensure accuracy
• Insurance related matters day today including annual review and renewal
• Ensure external and internal audit communications are rolled out efficiently
• Support company continual improvement initiatives
Day to day responsibility invoicing processing, commission reporting and payment, fixed asset register, to include depreciation and amortisation, accruals and prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations and cash management including petty cash
