Job Description
Immediate start for Purchase Ledger Assistant in Knaresborough near Harrogate. 9 month contract. Hybrid working option.  

Working in a fast-paced working environment, the Finance Assistant / Purchase Ledger Clerk will provide support to the Accounts Payable Manager. 

Responsibilities:

Entering transactions onto the purchase ledger.

Reconciling multiple bank accounts.

Build and maintaining key relationships with suppliers.

Assisting the AP Manager by providing financial information and support on an adhoc basis.

Purchase Ledger Candidate Requirements:

Be able to work in a confident and professional manner.
Have a sound understanding of basic accounting techniques and double entry bookkeeping.
Have the ability to work productively and flexibly under pressure to meet tight deadlines, especially at month end.
Experience of using SAP Business One good, but not essential
